The Association of via Gesù donated to the Municipality of Milan a “Flow of Light”, which will lead the visitors to discover the uniqueness and culture of #LaViaDellUomo.

A visionary project, strongly encouraged and co-sponsored by Association of via Gesù in collaboration with Riccardo Catella Foundation and realized by Artemide, company leader in light design, with the synergy of the Municipality of Milan and A2A. Long since promoted by the Municipality, today the Smart City Concept is applied in via Gesù as an evolved version where, through light, information, relationality and culture are brought into a central and historical area of the city.

The Association, which has been involved in the enhancement of the cultural and social heritage of this unique enclave in the heart of Milan, and the Riccardo Catella Foundation, who has been promoting the sustainable development of the territory from a modern and technological point of view and towards the wellbeing of its citizens, have joined forces for this incredible initiative.

Nur Outdoor project goes beyond the realm of the light performance. It activates a connection with people, an ideal participation, almost a spontaneous empathy, like it used to happen amongst the residents of the neighbourhood. Through an interactive intelligence, Nur Outdoor bonds the passers-by with the landmarks and the history of this street in the heart of Milan. This intelligent and last generation platform, designed by Artemide for via Gesù, is integrated in a smart and “SENSEable” city network through a series of technological tools. This allows the measurement of different parameters of usage and data exchange open to different applications.

Fondazione Riccardo Catella thanks Friends and Supporters and wishes a happy 2018 with the hope of sharing more goals and initiatives.
