Riccardo Catella

Riccardo Catella was an enlightened entrepreneur. He loved nature and paid attention to the land. What he developed and created in his life is a concrete representation of his thoughts, which were always centred on the man and the quality of life.

Mr. Catella was always thinking ahead and envisioning how he wished the future to be and his enthusiasm always enabled him to achieve his goals. In fact, he belived that "enthusiasm is the spring that makes humanity develop”.

It was in the 90s that Riccardo Catella met Gerry Hines and that, together with his son Manfredi Catella, he found a venue to fulfil his dream: a project that aimed to reunite areas that had been abandoned in the heart of Milan for over 30 years.

The Foundation in his honour is the natural fulfilment of one of his principles: “Participation is sharing”.
