MICOLTIVO NEL PARCO

MiColtivo nel Parco is a program promoted by Fondazione Riccardo Catella to involve citizens in the contruction of the Biblioteca degli Alberi park, the third largest public park in the centre of Milan. The 9 ectars park, designed by Inside Outside | Petra Blaisse, will offer to citizens paths and connections that bring the external and internal areas together, irregular fields, which draw out gardens, lawns, flowerbeds and small yards and circular forests, groups of trees creating real “green rooms” in which to relax.

MiColtivo nel Parco, supported by the Main Partners BNP Paribas, COIMA and Volvo Car Italia, has the following aims:

• PROMOTING the development of urban green and a responsible use of territory
• INVOLVING citizens in the construction of the third largest park of Milan city centre
• EDUCATING citizens through urban horticulture workshops in the 260 m2 vegetable gardens
• SENSITIZING citizens on respecting public areas and green spaces through partecipatory workshops and open days in the park
