The Public Garden

4000 square meters of greenery in the heart of the Isola District

The public garden around the Riccardo Catella Foundation was completed on May 2007 and covers a surface of approximately 4.000 square meters. It represents only a part of the future park known as "The Porta Nuova Gardens" that will cover a surface of 90.000 square meters. 

In order to improve the interaction between public spaces and citizens and after an analysis of the needs and requests of the neighbourhood, the area has obtained a bowling green, in addition to design bench and innovative playground for children.You may have access to the garden from the Via De Castillia 28 entrance or the Largo de Benedetti one, close to Via Melchiorre Gioia. 

The garden is open to the public from 9 am to 8 pm between april and september and form 9 am to 6 pm between october and march.
