Where we are

The building, situated in Via De Castillia, was founded at the end of the 19th century as a railway warehouse and was then used in the 20th century as a cinematographic set and modern art lab. It has now been renewed in order to maintain the value of its historical connection with the Isola neighbourhood.

The building was recently restructured so that the value of its external image could be increased and the original concept behind it could be maintained.

The Foundation site can be used as exhibition centre, location for various events and creates a new location in the city centre.
It represents a real “beating heart” in the Isola neighbourhood, a heart that is able to reconnect and give a new shape to the Urban Identity.

Inside the Foundation there are different rooms that can be used in various ways, as you can see from the attached plans.

A new public garden, which will be connected to the future urban park named “The Porta Nuova Gardens” is going to be open to the public soon.
